Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for the 2GW HVDC-platforms

Framework Agreement - Installation of Structural Health Monitoring System on 2GW HVDC-Platforms in the North Sea. The Contractor's scope of services includes in particular the installation of a Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM System) on the 2GW HVDC-platforms. TenneT Offshore awarded fourteen (14) 2GW offshore converter platforms for installation in the German and Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone for connecting offshore wind farms to the onshore supply grid - which are to be equipped with a system for structural monitoring. The platforms are based on the same FEED design providing a high degree of standardization throughout the program.
