PoR needs a robust approach to continuously stay on top of critical opportunities in the renewables/resource transition field - specifically targeting biobased and waste-based developments. The Port of Rotterdam houses the largest petrochemical cluster in Europe - which is responsible for 16% of Dutch greenhouse gas emissions. We realize that the energy transition to a low-emission port requires a strong focus. We do not only look at limiting GHG emissions - but at the same time also at building a new/replacement economy based on the sustainable product portfolio of the future.
