PhD Planning System

TU/e makes use of an IT system to plan and support the PhD candidates during their program - from registration to graduation. With the planning system for PhD candidates - TU/e aims to fulfil the following objectives within the Graduate School: • To provide insight into the status and progress of the doctoral candidate (PhD candidate) for each type of PhD candidate and for whom the university provides the PhD in a generic program workflow from start after hiring the candidate to a PhD graduation (dissertation or draft); • To be able to deliver quantitative and qualitative steering information and management reporting for quality control - decisions - and policy on the process of PhD graduation at TU/e; • To contribute to active cooperation...
