PEM Electrolyser System for research

On the way to electrification of industry - production of H2 via electrolysis of water is going to have an important role. The goal of this lab is the investigation - demonstration and education of students of the technical developments in the domain of power electronics - control for load following (balancing the grid) and intensification of electrolysis of water by pulsed currents. The electrolyser setup will be part of the Eindhoven Grid Lab (EGL). The electrolyser setup will provide an advanced testing environment for advanced hydrogen electrolysis technologies - for the integration of these electrolysers with a power grid - and for the connection of these electrolysers with renewable energy.
