# Contract description The purpose of this Tender Procedure is to select one (1) Contractor to supply a X-ray Computed Tomography scanner (hereinafter referred to as “X-ray CT scanner”). The supplies and the manner in which they are supplied must comply with the specifications and criteria given in the Tender documents - and notably the Programme of Requirements (see Chapter 8). There may be a combination of ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ requirements. The former are mandatory and must be met. If one or more of the ‘hard’ requirements are not met - the Tenderer will be excluded - provided the exclusion is not disproportionate.
