High-Precision Mass Spectrometer for Trace Hydrogen Detection (Model: H2MS-1)

For the energy transition - one of the main innovations is the production and use of hydrogen gas (H2). Groningen is at the heart of the first so-called Hydrogen Valley in Europe. The University of Groningen is involved in research around hydrogen production - transport and use. While the use of H2 is beneficial for combating climate warming - the emission of hydrogen to the atmosphere needs to be minimalized. One of the groups in the Faculty of Science and Engineering - the Centre for Isotope Research (CIO) is pioneering the field of H2 emission measurements and quantification. To further these activities - CIO intends to acquire the new high precision Mass Spectrometer for Trace Hydrogen Detection (model H2MS-1)
