# General This Descriptive Document contains information on the European tendering of Fish Tracker for NIOZ. # Reason and purpose of the invitation to tender The Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) intends to procure a complete acoustic tracking system for the ReefXL reef restoration project in the North Sea. The ReefXL project involves the deployment and monitoring of approximately 400 TreeReef frames and 120 Shellfish frames in a designated area of approximately 700 × 700 metres at depths between 35 and 50 metres.
