DSMR6 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

This tender concerns the PKI for a new smart metering concept (DSMR6). This new concept has been developed in cooperation with the major Dutch grid operators and introduces a number of new technical solutions for the Dutch market. The most prominent is the modular structure of the meter - where (tele)communication and data processing are no longer part of the electricity meter. These functions are performed by the replaceable gateway - which provides flexibility in both hardware and software to reduce the risk of premature replacement.
