Delivery of E-gates

SNBV has the legal obligation under article 37b limb 3 under c. of the Aviation Act to submit those persons that have access to the geographical area of the airport named ‘airside’ to access controls. With respect to airport passengers - such access controls are performed by means of the verification of the boarding pass. The e-gate is an access system that includes hardware and software and which enables passengers to get access to airside by showing their boarding pass - including dedicated e-gates for passengers with reduced mobility. If the passenger is authorized - the e-gate doors will automatically open - granting access to the security filter. The reason for SNBV to replace its current e-gates is that these are end-of-life.
