Delivery of a caeli laser and maintenance

The Cabauw Atmospheric Research Station requires the procurement of a new diode-pumped laser system. The current laser is 23 years old and was originally built by RIVM. In 2011 - the laser system was transferred to KNMI. Due to its age - the system needs to be replaced. The lidar system is actively used in international networks - particularly ACTRIS and GRUAN - and is part of the suite of instruments at the Cabauw atmospheric research station that provide detailed information on the vertical structure of the atmosphere. The Caeli lidar continuously and simultaneously measures water vapour - clouds - and aerosols.
